BIOGRAPHY
The co owener of Sfere Recordings along with house legend, Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer’s name has rapidly built momentum amongst house music aficionados, Chandler recognized Ferrer’s talent for production and business savvy early on. Together they formed Sfere Recordings in 1998, ever since they have released a string of quality productions on their Sfere Record Label which includes DR Gary Henry "Faith", Third Generation "You Don't Live Here", Anthony Flanagan "Never Enough", Bougie Soliterre "Got The Bug" and The Lost Tribes of Ibadan 1, 2, & 3 and "Joy To The World" are just a few. Ferrer's song - writing & prolific production skills which are influenced by both the gospel and the afro-house sounds, as seen him grow from strength to strength makes impressive reading, which includes the beautiful "Wonderful People" by Anthony Flanagan & the awesome "Reach 4 Freedom" plus other productions, DJ Pierre feat Queen Mary’s "Good Love" for (Kingstreet Records) Anthony Flanagan’s "Never Lost Faith", Basic " Funu", Stephanie Cooke "Rain", House Afrika - Bongo Maffin "Mari Ye Phepha" as well as recordings for Ibadan Records including such titles KoKo with Jerome Sydenham, Jehlaz "Saturday album" Jero "DJ Tools Vol. 3" and recording Soul Collectives Vol. 1, 2 & 3 for Large, Nicci "Count On Me" & "Shelter Me" by Chris Herbert for EasyStreet Records.
